Helping the community with Sliding Scale Pricing!

Sliding scale share pricing is one way we can make our CSA accessible to our neighbors with fewer resources, which in turn allows us to share our values of land stewardship and fresh, local food with a wider community.

Consider paying more on the scale if:
You own more than one home, you don't have significant debt or medical expenses, you have inherited money/property/other assets from family members, you own the home you live in, you have access to family money and resources in times of need, your household earns over $119,000 (the 2023 Suffolk County median household income)

Consider paying less on the scale if:
You are supporting children or other dependents, have significant debt or medical expenses not covered by insurance, have education or tuition expenses, receive public assistance, or are living on a fixed income.

This off-season share runs bi-weekly from Thanksgiving through the end of February. Includes root vegetables, autumn greens, and salad mixes from our hoop houses.

Winter Contributor Share

Contributor level shares help us cover the costs of providing shares to those with limited financial resources in our community. If you have the means and are passionate about increasing access to the Quaill Hill Farm CSA, this is your level!

Standard Winter Share

Standard level share prices cover the full cost of what it takes to make this farm tick. If you are wondering how to pay the "real" price of the share, this is your baseline.

Sprout Winter Share

Sprout level shares are for those of lower middle income with the means to pay about 75% of the cost of the farm share.

Seed Winter Share

Seed level shares are for those with very limited financial resources and covers about 55% of the cost of a Standard Share. There are only a handful of these shares available to those most in need in our community.

Quail Hill is partnered with The Center, formerly known as The Bridgehampton Child Care and Recreational Center, to provide fresh, locally grown produce to hundreds of families in our community. Your donation today helps us address food insecurity on the east end by contributing to the cost of producing the bounty we at QHF can share with the Farm to Food pantry program and other food pantries on the east end of Long Island!
